Bumpy Road Ahead For South Shore Motorists

December will bring a slew of temporary road closures to Ruskin and Riverview, just in time for Christmas and New Year's.
Crews with the Hillsborough County Public Works Department will be replacing cross drains between 10th and Oak streets in Ruskin. The work will be done between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and is scheduled from today through Dec. 12.
In addition, Balm Riverview Road will be closed between La Petite Way and Park Drive for road construction during the same hours starting today and running through Dec. 23. The road will remain open to local traffic until construction starts.
Gulf City Road in Ruskin will be closed between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. today through Thursday for resurfacing. The area affected stretches from U.S. 41 South to Cockroach Bay Road.
