Man Accused Of Sex With Quadriplegic Stepson

MANATEE COUNTY - The mother of a quadriplegic man discovered her elderly husband performing a sex act on her disabled son Wednesday afternoon, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said.

George Willis, 76, of the 4100 block of 24th Avenue East in Palmetto, was charged with the sexual battery of the 43-year-old quadriplegic man.

Willis is the man's stepfather.

The mother told authorities she entered a room, where she saw Willis performing oral sex, according to a report.

The woman struck Willis with a broom to stop him, the report said.

Her son was disabled in 1986 and is unable to communicate, wears a diaper and is fed through a tube, deputies reported.

Willis told authorities he knew what he did was wrong.
