Driver Who Died In St. Pete After Tire Blew ID'd As Pa. Woman

ST. PETERSBURG - The woman killed Thursday afternoon when a tire blew out on her sport utility vehicle on Interstate 275 has been identified as Sabrina Caryl Starliper, 21, of Mercersburg, Pa., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Starliper was driving a 1998 Ford SUV north on the interstate, just south of 54th Avenue North, when the left rear tire blew, the patrol said. She lost control of the vehicle, and it spun, went down an embankment and flipped over, the patrol said.
Starliper was partially ejected in the 4:22 p.m. wreck and later died at Bayfront Medical Center, the patrol said.
