Concerning the Capitol Visitor Center that opened Tuesday, three years and $360 million over budget, with a 186-foot marble wall holding display cases that document the nation's milestones and key decisions in Congress:
I think this project could have been done a lot cheaper if instead of marble, they had used pork fat and horse manure since they already have the raw material on site.
I also wonder if the idea to build it will be added to the wall as one of our nation's milestones or one of the key decisions made by Congress.
