Why so serious?
The biggest movie of the summer will likely become the biggest DVD of the year as well.
"The Dark Knight," with Heath Ledger's dark portrayal of the Joker, hits stores today.
Also in this week's crop of books, CDs and DVDs are Michael Phelps' written record of his Olympic performance and the moody score from the vampire thriller "Twilight."

Horton Hears a Who!: This animated rendition of the Dr. Seuss classic is less manic than live-action predecessors "The Grinch" and "The Cat in the Hat."
Swingtown – The First Season: A short-lived TV series rooted in the '70s, from Farah's hair to key parties.
It Happened One Night: A reissue of the classic starring Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert, about an heiress on the run and the reporter who finds and falls for her.
BOOKS
