A candlelight vigil will be held Wednesday night in honor of Candelario Lagunes, who was slain in a Plant City shooting Friday.
Lagunes, 58, was the bystander shot by Fransisco Rangel, who was wanted in the shooting death of 36-year-old Michael James Longoria, Hillsborough County deputies say.
Mourners for Lagunes will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Clement Catholic Church, 1104 N. Alexander St., in Plant City.
They will then head to a candlelight vigil at Plant City Stadium on on Park Road. The stadium will open at 7 p.m. for a Mass.
A viewing for Lagunes will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Haught Funeral Home, 708 Martin Luther King Blvd. in Plant City.
An account under Lagunes' name has been opened at Railroad & Industrial Federal Credit Union in Plant City to help the family.
