Polk Brush Fire Near Bradley Contained, Authorities Say

A 100-acre brush fire in Polk County has been contained, authorities report.
"Weather conditions continue to change. Crews will remain on scene until they are certain the fire is out," Polk County officials say in a written statement.
No structures were involved, according to an earlier statement.
The fire, off State Road 37 near Bradley, had expanded from 10 acres today.
Thirty firefighters battled the blaze, including some from Bartow, Fort Meade and Manatee County.
The Florida Division of Forestry also is on the scene.
