Demolition began today on two concrete beams damaged Tuesday when a dump truck hit the Interstate 75 overpass at State Road 50 in Hernando County.
One southbound lane of I-75 is open, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
Detours are expected until reconstruction is completed in about three weeks, according to FDOT.
