Pedestrian Killed On Enterprise Road In Pinellas ID'd

A 69-year-old homeless woman walking north on Enterprise Road in Pinellas County died after being struck by a 1998 Honda Civic on Wednesday night.
Estelle Yurman, who was pushing a stroller loaded with clothing and bags, was in the road when the vehicle struck her, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. She was wearing dark clothes, and there was no light.
The Civic's driver, 66-year-old Lonnie R. Jacobs of Clearwater, wasn't speeding, wasn't impaired and didn't see Yurman, a news release states.
Yurman's head struck the windshield, according to the highway patrol.
The Civic stopped in the northbound lane near State Road 580. Jacobs was not injured.
