Old Kick Gets New Legs In Florida

When I saw my rock 'n' roll buddies wearing leg warmers a couple of years back, I thought to myself; "Those will so go mainstream — and soon."
Well, guess what? I was right. Leg warmers are the winter must-have. Mega designers such as Martin Margiela and Julien MacDonald have made good use of the dancer-inspired relics, which means a big green flag for 30- and 40-somethings to enjoy the trend, too. And I am so psyched about it; I still crank the volume and dance my heart out every time I hear Irene Cara belting, "I can have it all, now I'm dancin' for my life!"
Leg warmers are the perfect climate-friendly trend for us Florida girls. They'll keep us cozy but not too hot during our mild winters.
Pair them with open-toed shoes and tuck your jeans or pants into the warmers. Or try them with an above-the-knee skirt and ruby stilettos. So hot!
