Teresa Batts, who describes New Orleans as her home away from home, in Tampa, saw snow for the first time Wednesday morning in the Crescent City.
"It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I thought they were the biggest raindrops I had ever seen until I went outside," Batts said. "Jackson Square was beautiful. It gave everything a nice little blanket. It was really pretty."
Batts, who visits the city several times a year, took a lot of photographs to show her three children back in Tampa, who haven't seen snow yet.
"It certainly was a surprise."
