No downtown streets will be closed tonight for Gov. Charlie Crist's nuptials, police say.
The wedding begins at 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, which is at Third Street North and Second Avenue across from Williams Park.
One of the four lanes of Third Street, a one-way thoroughfare that runs north, will be closed for Crist's entourage, St. Petersburg police spokesman Bill Proffitt said. Another lane, on the other side of the street, will be reserved for television trucks.
That leaves two lanes on Third Street open for motorists, Proffitt said.
About 200 friends and family members have been invited to Crist's wedding to Carole Rome.
