TAMPA - Two Tampa men are being held without bond after being charged with kicking in an apartment door, holding up the tenant at gunpoint and then leading police on a high-speed chase.
Javarius Lenear Taylor, 22, and Jamarcus Donnell Sapp, 19, were arrested at 8 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies said the two forced their way into a home at 7193 Bank Drive E. Once in, deputies said, they armed themselves with the homeowner's gun and robbed him.
The two men fled in a silver Buick Century. Deputies said they attempted to stop the car, but they refused to stop and led authorities on a chase of the residential area at "dangerous speeds." They stopped the car and attempted to flee on foot but were caught.
