Clearwater Police Say Love Triangle Led To Killing

A 36-year-old Tampa man was stabbed and died this morning in an apparent domestic homicide in Clearwater, police said.
Authorities responding to a 911 call at 6:10 a.m. found Johnny Johnson, 5108 21st St., Tampa, at 1365 Fairmount in Clearwater, where he reportedly was staying with his girlfriend.
Clearwater Fire & Rescue took him to Mease Dunedin Hospital, where Johnson died a short time later, a Clearwater police report said.
The death appeared to be the result of a love triangle situation, the report said.
Police are working to identify the suspect.
