Crews Knock Down Riverview Apartment Fire

Firefighters tackle a three-alarm fire at the Windemere Apartment complex. Residents had to vacate their homes while firefighters put out the fire and checked for hot spots.

TAMPA - Hillsborough County firefighters contained a three-alarm fire shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday at 9474 Windermere Lake Drive near Riverview, authorities said.
One firefighter reportedly was injured, but no injuries were reported to residents in the fire that broke out in the attic of the three-story apartment.
