Police are searching for two men who tried to rob three people in Clearwater early this morning, shooting one and striking another victim in the face with a pistol.
The Clearwater Police Department said the two would-be robbers came up to three men standing in a parking lot at 22036 Alpine Road about 2:23 a.m. and demanded money.
None of the three men had any money, police said.
