NEW PORT RICHEY - West Pasco Board of Realtors picked Mary Rinaldi as its Realtor of the Year and saluted Commissioner Michael Cox with an award at a Dec. 5 banquet.

The group also inducted brokers Charles R. Grey and Allen Crumbley, among five people, into the 2008 Real Estate Hall of Fame. Bob Memoli earned Home Town Hero honors.

Rinaldi from the Realty Shoppe got some of the top recognition at the annual awards banquet and installation of officers.

The Spirit Award went to Dan Holback of Atlantic Title and Abstract.

Affiliate of the Year was earned by Scott Byrnes of All Corners Home Inspections.

Kathie Christian with Florida Luxury Realty got the Outstanding Committee Chairman honor.

For Outstanding Government Service, the Realtors honored Cox. He recently helped introduce the group's economic recovery proposal at a county commission meeting.

In the Hall of Fame, Grey, who is with Coldwell Banker F.I. Grey & Son, was the broker inductee. In the agent category, Alise Barile of the Trinity office of Prudential Tropical Realty was selected. Among property managers, Lydia Szewczyk-Krauth of Unique Properties was chosen. Josie Wallace of J D Wallace & Associates represented appraisers. Among commercial brokers, Crumbley of Prudential CRES of Tampa Bay got the nod.

The Home Town Hero Award saluted Memoli's efforts at Florida Luxury Realty.

During the installation of officers, Victoria Barley of Residential Asset Partners took the reins of the group as president. Greg Armstrong of Coldwell Banker F I Grey & Son Residential is now past president.

President-elect is Troy Glaves of Residential Asset Partners.

Frederic Samson of Coldwell Banker Action Realty will serve as secretary.

The treasurer will be Paul Ousley of Florida Luxury Realty.

Other board directors are Rinaldi; Tina Hoover, ReMax Advantage Realty; Alice Taylor, Taylor Real Estate; Thomas Chadwick, ReMax Advantage; Shaunda Tafel, C21 Gold Medal Associates; and Kathie Christian, Florida Luxury Realty.
