Clearwater police said a "love triangle" led to a man being fatally stabbed this morning.
Officers responding to a 911 call found Johnny Johnson, 36, of Tampa, critically injured at his girlfriend's house, 1356 Fairmount St., Clearwater.
The call came in at 6:10 a.m.
Johnson was taken to Mease Dunedin Hospital, where he died a short time later, Clearwater public safety spokeswoman Elizabeth Watts said.
Detectives are calling the stabbing a domestic homicide and the result of a "love triangle situation." Police identified the other people involved as 26-year-old Khija Williams, who lives at the home, and 27-year-old Nathaniel Jones of New York.
Detectives are collecting evidence and have not made any arrests, Watts said.
