Dade City police are looking for a man they say robbed a Dollar General store on Saturday.
Robert Hayden Huffman, 57, is considered armed and dangerous, Capt. David Duff says in a written statement from the Dade City Police Department.
Huffman is white and about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He has gray hair and gray facial hair. He was wearing a blue-and-white plaid button-up shirt and jeans.
His vehicle is described as a silver-blue 2000 Nissan Frontier with Florida tag A130IX, the license plate on the truck at the time of the robbery, Duff said. The Frontier may have Florida tag 507JZB, which is the license plate registered to the truck and Huffman, police say.
Huffman has a travel trailer and might be staying in a park in the Dade City or Zephyrhills area, Duff said. Anyone with information should not approach him but call a local law enforcement agency or the Dade City Police Department at (352) 521-1493, Duff said.
Police say Huffman entered the Dollar General at 12854 U.S. 301 on Saturday morning and demanded money from a clerk. Huffman implied he had a weapon and left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, Duff said.
