BRADENTON - Manatee County deputies are looking for a man accused of robbing a Bradenton hair salon.
The man walked into First Choice Haircutters, 6231 14th St. W., about 8:30 p.m. Monday night, pulled a black handgun from his waistband and pointed it at a 22-year-old salon employee, the Manatee County Sheriff's said.
The man told the employee, "This is a robbery, give me your money," according to investigators. The man left the salon with $454.15, going north on 14th Street West, deputies say.
A sheriff's office canine unit attempted to track down the man with no results and crime scene technicians checked the front door of the salon for fingerprints, deputies say.
No one was hurt.
The man is white, in his 30's, about 5-feet-8-inches tall and 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red long sleeved sweater, jeans, baseball cap and sunglasses.
Anyone with information can call the Manatee County Sheriff's Office at (941) 747-3011.
