TAMPA - Anthony Hall wouldn't give up $2, and it led to his being stabbed, police say.
Hall was approached by two men Sunday night. Police say Austin Reese asked for $2, but Hall told Reese and the other man, Sean Hodges, to go away because Reese had asked Hall for money the day before.
Hodges, 39, stabbed Hall in the chest and right arm, police say.
Hall stumbled to a gas station at 50th Street and Busch Boulevard, where police were called. He was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he was treated and released.
Officers found Hodges and Reese later Sunday near Temple Heights Road and 50th Street. They were arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Hodges and Reese, 35, were being held in Orient Road Jail today with bail set at $7,500 each.
