TAMPA - A Brandon woman was arrested this morning after calling 911 multiple times to report a noise complaint, Hillsborough County deputies say.

After Mary Odom called 911 seven times to report a complaint that had been previously resolved, a deputy warned her that the 911 system was for emergencies. That's when Odom dialed 911 for the eighth time, according to arrest records.

Odom, 38, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. and charged with misuse of the 911 system.

She has been released on $500 bail, records state.
