Hyatt Aqualea Resort In Clearwater Beach To Top Out Thursday

The Aqualea and Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa will hold a topping out ceremony at 11 a.m. Thursday.
Topping out is a traditional ceremony on a construction project when the final beam is put in place, usually along with a decoration like an evergreen tree.
The 268-unit project at 301 S. Gulfview Blvd. involves 200 construction jobs. The condominium and hotel will employ 160. It is scheduled to open in December 2009.
