DADE CITY - The city's police department is searching for a man accused of robbing the Dollar General on U.S. 301 on Saturday night.
Robert Hayden Huffman, 57, approached a cashier as if to pay for an item but instead indicated that he had a weapon and demanded money, a police report alleged.
He fled with an undisclosed amount of money in a blue, two-door, 2000 Nissan Frontier pickup with Florida tag A13-0IX, records said.
The truck could have Florida license plate 507-JZB.
Witnesses identified Huffman, who has a travel trailer and could be staying in a park in Dade City or Zephyrhills, from a photo lineup, records said.
Huffman should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with information can call Dade City police at (352) 521-1493.
