TAMPA - Three people are facing armed drug trafficking charges after investigators discovered a stash of cocaine, marijuana, morphine and Ecstasy in a house south of Gunn Highway, affidavits say.

Damon Gerard Williams, Daniel Timothy Lavelle and Eva Anna Butler were each held without bail at Hillsborough County jails tonight. All were arrested Wednesday after a search of Williams' house at 12318 Cloverstone Drive, records show.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and Tampa police served the search warrant about 5:20 p.m. Wednesday. They discovered more than 400 grams of cocaine, a sealed bottle of morphine, roughly 124 grams of marijuana, more than 28 grams of Ecstasy, a 9mm pistol and a semi-automatic rifle with the serial number altered, affidavits state.

Authorities charged Williams, 34, with seven felony offenses, including armed cocaine trafficking, trafficking in illegal drugs, being a felon in possession of a firearm and the alteration of a firearm serial number.

Williams, who has a marijuana leaf tattooed on his right forearm, was released from a state prison in 2002 after serving 18 months for felony sale or delivery of cocaine, public records show.

During the search, Lavelle, 24, ran through a side door and scaled a fence, affidavits state. A neighbor detained him for investigators, who charged him with six felony offenses, including armed cocaine trafficking, trafficking in MDMA (Ecstasy) and burglary for jumping into the neighbor's yard, affidavits state.

Butler, 31, also left the house during the search. Investigators followed her to a U-Haul storage unit at 6111 Gunn Highway, where they intercepted her and found her with more than 200 grams of cocaine, affidavits state. Upon searching the storage unit, they also found a semi-automatic rifle with the serial numbers removed, affidavits state.

Authorities charged Butler with four felony offenses, including armed cocaine trafficking and alteration of a firearm serial number.
