METAIRIE, La. - Reggie Bush produced teasing glimpses of his dazzling talent, but for a second straight season got too beat up to do much else.
The former Heisman Trophy winner, now in his third pro season, was placed on injured reserve Wednesday with a sprained left knee. When this season ends, he'll have missed 10 games in the last two years with various knee injuries.
BILLS: QB Trent Edwards returned to practice Wednesday and is expected to start at Denver.
COWBOYS: Thought to be out for the season because of a neck injury, Adam "Pacman" Jones returned to practice and is expected to play Saturday after having missed only one game.
GIANTS: Brandon Jacobs practiced, an early sign the big halfback would be back in the lineup this weekend for the NFC showdown against the Panthers.
STEELERS: NFL owners have approved a restructured ownership plan in which Pittsburgh chairman Dan Rooney and his son will buy most of the shares owned by other family members.
