Do the kids hate brushing their teeth?
Maybe they can create a toothbrush that excites them and their peers to scrub their pearly whites.
Toothbrush maker Dr. Fresh wants kids in grades two through five to enter its third annual "Be a Dental Inventor" contest.
By Jan. 25, kids can submit drawings of the new contraption and a brief explanation of how the device will be fun, user-friendly and motivate other kids to brush regularly.
The top prize: an all-expenses-paid trip for the winner and one adult to Buena Park, Calif., where they will visit the Dr. Fresh headquarters and the Disneyland Resort, and a $500 U.S. Savings Bond. Two runners-up each win $250 U.S. Savings bonds. All children entering the contest get a Dr. Fresh FireFly toothbrush.
