The Bucs Will Win If...
They can get their running game going. Let's face facts here, folks; the defense needs some help. The guys on that side of the ball are hurting a bit right now, and the best thing the offense can do for them is to keep the ball for a while and score regularly. The Bucs can do that if they can get their running game going. This was supposed to be the strength of the Bucs' attack but it has been only ordinary the last few weeks. Improve here and the Bucs will find their winning ways again.
The Chargers Will Win If...
They get a good game out of Darren Sproles. Sproles is to the Chargers what Clifton Smith is to the Bucs. He's an explosive return man who is averaging 10 yards per punt return and 25 yards per kick return. If he has a good day, the Chargers will have an easier time getting into their offensive game plan, which calls for them to move the ball around to a variety of targets. The Chargers like to use the run to set up the pass and take an occasional shot downfield, and good field position will allow them to do that.
