ABOUT THE TEAMS: The Tribune's All-Hillsborough County boys and girls cross country teams were selected by staff writer Bill Ward. The selections were based on regular-season and postseason performances, with strong emphasis on head-to-head competition, county championships and state finals.

The boys and girls cross country runners of the year, as well as the boys and girls coaches of the year, will be announced at the Tribune's annual Parade of Athletes banquet in May.

GIRLS

FIRST TEAM

Erin Bailey, Jr., Wharton - Consistent standout performer for Class 3A Wildcats all season, taking fifth at district, 11th at regional and 25th at state finals

Sydney Coates, Jr., Newsome - Came back from injury to finish strong at season's end; top 15 at her 3A regional meet and sub-20 minutes at state finals

Olivia D'Angelo, Sr., Berkeley Prep - Bucs' No. 1 runner all season and top-three performer at county championships for second straight year

Alyssa Franks, Sr., Wharton - The No. 1 runner at the county's top girls program; top-five at county championships and her 3A district and regional meets

Lizzie Goodwin, So., Plant - Panthers' No. 2 runner finishes top 10 at county and 3A district meets, then finishes top 15 at regionals.

Kayla Kennedy, Jr., Plant - Breakout season by winning county championships with dominant performance; finished top-five at her 3A district and regional meets

Rebecca Webster, Sr., Newsome - The county's top female performer at state finals and top 10 at her 3A district and regional meets

SECOND TEAM

Meghan Sullivan, Sr., Tampa Catholic; Abby Ritter, So., Wharton; Hilary White, Jr., King; Julissa Lopez, Sr., Gaither; Selena Castillo, Academy of the Holy Names; Grace VanDeGrift, So., Durant; Shannon Meggs, Wharton

FIRST TEAM

John Grellner, Sr., Wharton - Solid performer all season with top-three finishes in his 3A district and regional meets; sixth at county championships

John Mitchell, Sr., Durant - Overcame early-season cramping problem to turn in top-five finishes at county, as well as 4A district and regional finals.

Mark Parrish, Jr., Chamberlain - For second consecutive year, was the county's top performer when it mattered most with strong third-place finish in 3A state finals.

Connor Revord, Sr., Jesuit - Led Tigers to state runners-up trophy; won second consecutive individual 2A regional crown

Jordan Schilit, Sr., Jesuit - One of the area's most consistent performers, taking fourth in the county meet, winning his 2A district and finishing second in the regional.

Derek Wehunt, Sr., Sickles - County champion for second consecutive year; set course record by winning flrunners.com Invitational

Trenor Wilkins, Jr., Plant - Panthers' No. 1 man had a breakout season, taking third in county meet and winning his first individual 3A regional title

SECOND TEAM

Keegan Bixler, Sr., Newsome; Ross Campbell, Sr., Plant; Tyler Greathouse, Jr., Berkeley Prep; Chase Nelson, Sr., Chamberlain; Karl Stonesifer, Sr., Berkeley Prep; Logan Trimble, Sr., Jesuit; Gilbert Vasquez, Sr., Armwood
