A Dundee man shot and killed his ex-wife at her home Saturday night, seriously wounded the man she was with, then turned the gun on himself, authorities said.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office identified the gunman as 51-year-old Khemraj Dhani.
Dhani showed up at 706 Adams Ave. in Dundee shortly after 6 p.m. He broke a window next to the door, stuck his arm in and began randomly firing a semi-automatic handgun, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said.
His 17-year-old daughter jumped up from the couch, ran into a bathroom, locked the door and climbed out to safety.
Then Dhani came into the house and shot his ex-wife, Kalowti Dhani, 49. He shot her first husband, who was visiting, before fatally shooting himself in the head.
Kalowti Dhani had taken out a restraining order against her ex-husband, Judd said.
Authorities did not name the man wounded inside Dhani's home. He was taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center, where he was in critical condition.
