Tickets Make Great Yule Gifts, Strawberry Festival Says

PLANT CITY - The Florida Strawberry Festival has a suggestion for last-minute Christmas shoppers who don't want to deal with the crowds at the malls:

Tickets to the festival and its headline shows make great stocking stuffers.

Advance tickets for gate admission at the festival, Feb. 26 through March 8, are $8 for adults and $4 for children 6 to 12. Plus, there are 22 top-name concerts in 11 days, with reserved seat tickets ranging from $10 to $45, depending on artist and show.

Headline shows include Taylor Swift; George Jones, Larry Gatlin & The Gatlin Brothers, Kellie Pickler, Jessica Simpson and comedian Jeff Foxworthy, among others.

Concert tickets do not include admission to the festival.

Tickets can be purchased on-line at the festival's Web site at www.flstrawberryfestival.com, at the festival ticket office at 2209 W. Oak Ave., open Christmas week 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. The office is closed this week on Thursday and Friday. Tickets can be ordered by telephone at (813) 754-1996.
