Shia LaBeouf is a guy who starts getting bossy phone calls from a female voice, drawing him into a web of chase scenes and explosions that probably tie into some vast technological conspiracy. GHOST TOWN **
It may sound like "The Sixth Sense" meets "Ghost," but this grown-up rom com about a dentist who develops the ability to hear dead people has the advantage of its star, comic phenom Ricky Gervais. Pestered by a deceased Greg Kinnear, he finds himself falling for the dead guy's wife (Tea Leoni), who is at least a match for him in the area of comedic chops. PG-13, 103 minutes
