TAMPA - The company that created Mitchell's Fish Market at WestShore Plaza is ready to open its newest restaurant at International Plaza.
Cameron Mitchell Restaurants will open Ocean Prime, a steak and seafood restaurant, on Jan. 23. The restaurant will feature live piano music in a supper club atmosphere, with some retro-style entrees including aged Wisconsin cheddar fondue and classic oysters Rockefeller.
Ocean Prime is on a mall outparcel fronting Boy Scout Boulevard. It will not be part of the International Plaza's Bay Street restaurant and retail area, said Ashley Lansdale, a spokeswoman for the restaurant.
Ocean Prime will be open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be open for dinner at 4 p.m. seven days a week and close at 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 p.m. Sunday.
Cameron Mitchell Restaurants of Columbus, Ohio, formerly operated Mitchell's Fish Market restaurants but sold the concept to Ruth's Chris Steak House this year.
Cameron Mitchell Restaurants still operates other brands, including Ocean Prime, M and Cameron's American Bistro.
