Detectives have arrested an 18-year-old in connection with a shooting Tuesday night at a convenience store in Holiday, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
David Gagne of 8947 Harvey Lane, Port Richey, was charged today with three counts of attempted homicide.
Gagne is accused of shooting Bryan David Burke, 18, of New Port Richey, in the chest outside A-1 Beverage store, 4930 Moog Road. Burke was in serious condition today at a local hospital, according to the sheriff's office.
Detectives say multiple rounds struck Burke's vehicle. Also in Burke's vehicle were two of his teenage friends.
It appears Burke was shot in a botched robbery attempt, detectives say. He had gone to the store to meet a female friend.
Gagne was being booked into a detention center this afternoon in Land O' Lakes.
