DADE CITY - Officials at Farmworkers Self-Help Inc. distributed toys and food baskets Wednesday to about 320 families served by the Tommytown-based agency.
The organization distributed the items between 6 a.m. and noon at the Pasco County Fairgrounds, but people began lining up at 5 a.m. for the annual giveaway. Children received bicycles and toys, while parents took home bags of donated food and produce.
Farmworkers Self-Help has administered the Christmas program for 25 years.
