Miami police have arrested someone who allegedly confessed to beating to death a 41-year-old homeless man.
Sedrek A. Singleton, a 29-year-old who police say is also homeless, faces a first-degree murder charge.
Witnesses told investigators Todd Hill was sleeping on a riverfront bench early today when someone approached and began beating him with a blunt object.
Hill died after being taken to the hospital.
Police searching the area for a suspect stopped Singleton and noticed blood stains on his shirt.
The man allegedly told investigators he attacked Hill with a tire iron because the victim "looked at me the wrong way."
