Six Girls Who Earned Keep

In the Great Depression, a family with no electricity, no running water, no money and no jobs had six girls. They helped raise chickens and hogs and grew vegetables. They built a smoke house to cure the hams. The family had fresh chickens, eggs, meat and vegetables.

I married one of these girls. For 65 years, true love.
