Tarpon Springs - Two men were arrested after a fight at a Tarpon Springs nightclub Friday night where two men were stabbed, one of them after being struck with a beer bottle, police said.
John Gedeon Jr. and Thomas Gore, both 25, were held at the Pinellas County Jail today. Both live at an apartment at 825 E. Cypress St. in Tarpon Springs, where the Tarpon Springs police arrested them early this morning, records show.
Gedeon is held on $10,000 bail, charged with felony aggravated battery. Gore is held on $50,000 bail, charged with felony aggravated battery and aggravated assault, records show.
According to police, a fight broke out on the back patio of The Zone Lounge, 121 E. Tarpon Ave., about 10:09 p.m. Friday.
Police said Gedeon threw a glass beer bottle, striking a 37-year-old man in the head.
Moments later, Gore attacked the same man, stabbing him and a 42-year-old man several times, police said. Both men were transported to Bayfront Medical Center, where their condition was unavailable today.
Police did not release the men's identities today, citing the ongoing investigation.
