Two 15-year-old Largo boys were arrested Sunday night after authorities say they spray-painted graffiti on the racquetball courts at Largo High School.
The teens were found hiding by the courts after an alarm was triggered at the school, according to Lt. Mike Loux of the Largo Police Department. Patrol officers found an open window at the school and, shortly afterward, the suspects, Loux said in an e-mail.
The boys first said they were "just sitting here chillin'" but later admitted to spray-painting gang signs and other graffiti on the racquetball courts, Loux said. The boys also admitted to spray-painting vacant houses on First Avenue Northeast, Loux said.
Both boys were arrested and charged with spray-painting graffiti, Loux said.
It did not appear that anyone entered the school, he said.
