Deputies: Plant City Burglar Touches Sleeping Woman

A Plant City man entered a pregnant neighbor's bedroom while she was sleeping, touched her inappropriately and left wearing women's underwear after the woman told him to stop, Hillsborough County deputies say.
Deputies arrested 22-year-old Benancia Ramirez at 10:08 p.m. Sunday. He was charged with battery on a pregnant woman and burglary with battery.
Ramirez entered the home about 9:49 p.m. through an unsecured rear door, a criminal arrest affidavit states.
He touched her inappropriately, and when she realized it wasn't her husband, she told Ramirez to stop and her husband woke up, according to the affidavit.
It was not immediately clear whether the women's bikini underwear Ramirez wore belonged to the woman, sheriff's spokesman J.D. Callaway said. He also was holding two pairs of women's panties, Callaway said.
Ramirez was in Orient Road Jail today. His bail had not been set.
