U.S. 41 In Ruskin Reopens; TECO Looks Into Downed Lines

The southbound lanes of U.S. 41 have reopened at 19th Avenue Northeast in Ruskin, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies closed the area because of downed power lines about noon today. Authorities don't know what caused the lines to come down. Tampa Electric Co. was working on the broken lines, according to the sheriff's office.

The road reopened just after 1 p.m.
