Md. Firm To Ship Cars From Tampa Port To Africa, Mideast

TAMPA - AAA Lines, a specialized vehicle delivery service based in Baltimore, will launch an export service at the Port of Tampa on Sunday that will transport cars, trucks and construction equipment to West Africa and the Middle East.
The "roll on/roll off" service will begin with the arrival of AAA Lines' vessel M/V Ocean Coach at the Port of Tampa on Sunday. It is scheduled to sail to Benin, Nigeria and Togo.
The M/V Trigger is scheduled to arrive at the Port of Tampa on Jan. 19 and will sail to Lebanon.
The service is expected to make two to three calls per month at the Port of Tampa's Berth 202 vehicle terminal, which largely handles used vehicles for export.
