Tampa Man With Alzheimer's Is Missing

Police are searching for a 79-year-old Tampa man with Alzheimer's disease who wandered away from home this afternoon.
Rene Fuentes is 6 feet tall with a thin build and gray hair and a mustache. He was wearing blue or black pants and a brown and white plaid shirt when he left his home at 817 W. Fribley St. He was last seen at about 2:30 p.m.
Authorities say he is known to look into trash cans and then bring items home from them.
