Tribune handicapper Michael David picks today's races at Tampa Bay Downs:

RACE 1: (8) Campaign Drive, closer will be fit and ready in third try; (1) Stephen Loves Me, might be ready at first asking; (2) Molly's Event, chance for a minor share.

RACE 2: (10) The Event Planner, chased a runaway winner last time out; (1) Forest Light, strong finish in latest; (8) Cherokee Uprising, might be hard to catch.

RACE 3: (3) Secret Account, recent winner on edge to repeat; (7) Truthsayer, won last despite wide trip; (9) Fierce Advocate, shipper been facing better.

RACE 4: (10) Flight Navigator, impressive winner in local debut: (4) Brave Mizz, closed with a rush in last; (6) Tri to Dance, versatile type on dirt or turf.

RACE 5: (6) Poison Pill, takes major class drop today; (8) Mount Nebo, the one to catch; (4) Ahead of Time, may have needed last.

RACE 6: (1) Best Westerner, top jockey/trainer combo hard to beat; (8) It's a Rap, best effort was on the turf; (10) A Devil of a Trip, bred for the turf.

RACE 7: (7) Raymundo, shipper comes here in good form; (4) Alex Ingram, in the money in last four tries; (6) Inside Zone, last race his best.

RACE 8: (8) Jp'shanna, 7-for-8 in the exactas, in top form; (5) Tenacious Gator, had a rough trip in latest; (6) Sarah's Image, had race over the track, should improve.

RACE 9: (3) Mr. Mischief, returns to preferred surfaces; (1) West Lido, rallied in debut; (7) Hanging in There, usually in the mix.

RACE 10: (5) Fleet Storm, veteran runner in top form; (11) Florida's Quixote, chased a hot horse in last; (7) Expect Validity, has good Tampa record.

COMMON CENTS (today's best bet): (10) Flight Navigator in Race 4 - Blew by the field on her return from a six-month layoff. Has room for more improvement in her second race over the Tampa turf course.
