Rout Moves No. 1 Connecticut To 21-0

STORRS, Conn. - Ketia Swanier scored a career-high 17 points and top-ranked Connecticut routed Providence 80-54 on Saturday to run its unbeaten streak to 21.

Freshman Maya Moore had 16 points and Tina Charles added 15 points and 11 rebounds for UConn (21-0, 8-0 Big East).

Renee Montgomery, who came into the game having scored at least 20 points in three consecutive games, was held to eight by Providence (11-10, 1-6), but set a career high with 10 assists.

RUTGERS 64, PITTSBURGH 60: Rashidat Junaid came off the bench to quickly score 10 points down the stretch, and No. 4 Rutgers (18-3, 8-1 Big East) rallied from eight points down in the second half to beat No. 14 and host Pittsburgh (17-4, 7-1).

BAYLOR 63, KANSAS STATE 49: Jessica Morrow scored 16 points and helped key a 17-2 second-half run that vaulted No. 6 Baylor (20-1, 8-0 Big 12) past No. 18 and host Kansas State (15-6, 7-1), stretching the Lady Bears' winning streak to 13. Marlies Gipson led Kansas State with 14 points.

STANFORD 75, UCLA 62: Candice Wiggins scored 31 points to boost her school-record total to 2,253, and No. 7 Stanford (19-3, 9-2) beat visiting UCLA (11-11, 6-5), avenging a loss last month in the teams' Pac-10 opener. Stanford freshman Kayla Pedersen had 10 rebounds and a career-high 28 points.

CALIFORNIA 60, USC 55: Devanei Hampton had 20 points and 15 rebounds, including the tiebreaking basket in overtime, and No. 10 California (19-3, 10-1 Pac-10) survived a poor shooting performance (31 percent) to hold off visiting Southern California (13-9, 6-5).

BYU 56, WYOMING 42: Freshman Mallary Carling scored 18 points and host Brigham Young (11-8, 5-2 Mountain West) upset No. 15 Wyoming (18-3, 6-2). Justyna Podziemska scored 19 points and Aubrey Vandiver had 10 points and 10 rebounds for Wyoming.

GEORGE WASHINGTON 73, DUQUESNE 65: Kimberly Beck scored 19 points and No. 16 George Washington (18-4, 6-1 Atlantic 10) gave Coach Joe McKeown his 500th career win, relying on two pivotal first-half runs to beat host Duquesne (11-11, 2-5).

NOTRE DAME 73, CINCINNATI 41: Charel Allen scored 16 points and led a pivotal run that swept No. 20 Notre Dame (17-5, 5-3 Big East) past host Cincinnati (10-11, 1-8). Notre Dame freshman Devereaux Peters scored 12 points as a reserve.

OKLAHOMA STATE 82, COLORADO 71: Andrea Riley scored 30 points and led a second-half surge that sent No. 21 Oklahoma State (17-3, 5-2 Big 12) past host Colorado (13-8, 2-6).

GEORGETOWN 78, SYRACUSE 71: Kieraah Marlow scored 19 points, Shanice Fuller added 16 and host Georgetown (12-9, 2-6 Big East) beat No. 22 Syracuse (17-4, 5-3) for its first win against a ranked opponent in four years. Nicole Michael led Syracuse with 16 points.

DEPAUL 78, VILLANOVA 55: Allie Quigley scored 23 points and Deirdre Naughton added 21 to help No. 23 DePaul (16-5, 5-3 Big East) beat visiting Villanova (12-10, 2-7).

Natasha Williams had 12 points and two blocks for DePaul.

CREIGHTON 75, ILLINOIS STATE 71: Kelsey Woodard scored 20 points to help visiting Creighton (13-5, 6-3 Missouri Valley) edge No. 24 Illinois State (18-2, 8-1). The Redbirds saw their 14-game winning streak come to an end.
