Fund for Cancer Victim Established

ZEPHYRHILLS - ZEPHYRHILLS - A fund has been set up to pay medical and funeral expenses for a Zephyrhills boy who died from cancer this week.

Jacob Bolton, 8, died Monday at Hernando Pasco Hospice in Dade City. The West Zephyrhills Elementary third-grader was diagnosed with a deadly tumor on his brain stem last February.

A boisterous, plucky kid, Jacob inspired those who knew him -- strangers, too. As word of his condition spread through the community, friends, family and classmates organizers shows of support and fundraisers.

Those wishing to make a donation can go to any CenterState branch and write a check to Celline Pullin, Jacob's mother, care of Jacob Bolton.
