A grand jury in Sarasota County has indicted Michael Lee King on a first-degree murder charge in the kidnapping and killing of Denise Amber Lee. Prosecutors intend to seek the death penalty.

King is suspected in the kidnapping and killing of Denise Amber Lee, the 21-year-old daughter of a veteran Charlotte County sheriff's lieutenant.

Prosecutors have filed a notice of intent to seek the death penalty.
