TREASURE ISLAND - It's safe for members of roughly 30 households to drink their tap water this morning, two days after an underground water main break prompted a mandatory boil-water edict.
Households in the vicinity of the break at 153 104th Ave. were notified Wednesday night by hand-delivered messages that the water is OK, said David Baker, manager of conservation resources for Pinellas County Utilities. The water was tested after the water main was repaired Tuesday, he said.
