University of Florida co-defensive coordinator Greg Mattison is considering taking a job with the Baltimore Ravens, according to The Gainesville Sun.
Florida coach Urban Meyer said in the report Mattison had turned down an offer from the Ravens, but this new offer involves more money.
Calls to Mattison's home and cell phone Wednesday night were not returned, and Meyer responded to a text message by saying he would know more about the situation Friday.
Baltimore coach John Harbaugh and Mattison coached together at Western Michigan in the 1980s. Harbaugh coached the running backs and outside linebackers while Mattison was a defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.
