TAMPA - Apparently, all a probation officer and deputy have to do is ask and they receive.
They asked whether Annette Smith had drugs in her home during a probation check at 7021 24th Ave. on Wednesday.
The 43-year-old led them to her dresser drawer, which had cocaine and marijuana packaged for delivery, the sheriff's office said. They also found 2 bags of marijuana and a small pack of heroin during a search along with digital scales and packaging material, the sheriff's office said.
Smith, who also was held on violation of probation, was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell and possession of cocaine with intent to sell.
She is being held without bond at Orient Road Jail.
